Today I had an appointment with Dr Szita, Mum & Dad drove me to Burton hospital. Mum came in with me for the consultation.
Dr Szita advised me it’s best to have another 3 rounds of chemo, just like before. She said this is optional, but highly recommended, as the cancer I have is really aggressive. This is to minimise the risk of the cancer appearing elsewhere, particularly my pelvis and lungs.
Dr Szita advised me I should start chemo round three of 6 after Christmas. As it would be too soon after surgery.
So I will be starting round 4 of 6 of chemo on 08/01/2021.
Dr Szita also told me I will be having more CT scans, this is to keep an eye on things. I will also be having regular blood tests, which I was expecting.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
