Hi My neighbour who is in her 80's has been diagnosed
with lung cancer. She is waiting for further test results to see if it has
spread. She has been told they can't operate because she isn't well enough to
cope with surgery (and too old??). She has moved in with her sister who is also
very ill with cancer and bone problems. My friend has barely eaten for months
and is now avoiding having people visit and help. I have suggested that they
contact someone to come and help on a daily basis (she is now struggling to
dress herself) but she said they are ok. I don't want to force myself or other
help onto them but I cannot just sit back and watch them both suffer. Any
ideas?
