Why have I got a pain now!!

Less than one minute read time.

Hello everyone on this site, just thought I'd blog as probably angry with my body for letting me down, got my routine scans and bloods tommorow and NBM again for 6 hrs, but whats worrying me is this pain I've had in the area where my kidney was removed in feb this year, Why start up again now when I've been in fairly good health since my chemo was stopped, Its like a sharpe stabbing pain which doesn't last long but there is now a constant ache there, i'm annoyed as i'm all booked up to go to cayo coco in cuba in november and have been looking forward to it for ages as it is supposed to be paradise there. Am I being selfish, just want a holiday with my husband in the sun and just chill, but worried something may have spread! Gggrrrr (thru clenched teeth!!!) Anyway thats my rant for today.

Hi Jilly...............no you are not being selfish wanting your holiday, you deserve it girl. I think alot of us live with the worry of 'will it come back' and every ache or pain can be OMG, occassionally I get a pain where my right ovary was and that is where my cancer started, then it's gone, s I have to have my check ups and nothing so far. Get your check up and have your holiday and damn well enjoy it girl...love Carol x

Hya Jilly, Just 2 say someone else (amongst many!) knows how you feel, all you can do is as carol says get checked out. From what I keep reading its so common to feel these aches and pains and its so cruel as the worry is much tougher thn the actual pain. I had a pain exactly like the same as the one I had with the tumour but was reassured there was nothing there. These nerves are a damn nuisance. Heres to being reassured and a fantastic jolly, love Karen xox
