    Hi

My dad also has oc and had the news this week that he may only have a year to 18mnths left, if cancer has not spread anywhere else ( awaiting scan appt and then back to the oncologist) I understand how you feel about talking about your dad, i find it really hard to not cry all the time when i talk about him. I have 2 young children ( 6 and 8yrs) both very close to my dad. Mydad too is only on liquid food and he says if never sees another milkshake it will be too soon! We found it really helpfull to right all our questions down and take them with us to appt's even if you can't say it you can hand over the questions and your doctor should be able to tell you the answers that they can. Our's was very helpfull and she answered our questions and was honest enough to tell us if she did not know.

Keep your chin up and always have a smile and hug for your dad.
