Hello i have recently joined this group, my brother is diagnosed with mesothelioma, he is in constant pain and has been unable to sleep on his side for over 6 months due to the disease and the removal of a rib for biopsy. he has just finised 4th chemo, he has had CT scan and been advised has not spread further but they say chemo wont help further, from what i have read however of course i know he is not out of the woods, is not cured and i am sure will spread eventually. the oncolgoist is talking about a new treatment, injections, i have no idea what this is or what the outcome will be from the the treatment, has anybody had experience of this.
i would like to make him as comfy as possible, do you know of any therapies that may help him, sorry i am waffling on but dont know really where to start with this, i ahve had experience of cancer as my lovely dear dad passed away from lung cancer, my grandad passed away from prostate cancer, so i would like to help my lovely borhter where i can......
