Hi I wondered if anyone would be able to help - I received a phonecall this evening from my friend who is in Poland at the moment visiting his mum who is suffering from cancer. Basically, he has been told by doctors there that they have exhausted all the treatment options, and he phoned me to ask if I would know of or could find out about any further treatment options that might be available to his mum in the UK.
Both my friend and his wife are Polish, but live and work in the UK (in Glasgow).
I do not know details of the type of cancer or treatment my friend's mum has already had, but would be able to find this out.
Just wondering if anyone could point my friend in the right direction as regards an initial point of contact/someone who he could talk to on this subject?
Many thanks in advance,
Fiona
