I've had endometriosis since I was 10 diagnosed im now 20 and suffering with cervical cancer symptoms yet my gp refuses to do anything my mum had a full hysterectomy at 28 she had the cervical cancer for four years before her gp did anything and I have the same symptoms she had im trying to see my gynaecologist Mr powel at queens med but my gp refuses to refer me I've lost lots of weight im struggling to eat as I constantly feel full I have no energy as im hardly eating and im in agony so im on 60mg of pure codeine and even that doesn't help, please can someone give me some advice thank you

    ask/ demand a second opinion.go to different doctor,even if its just to prove nothing is wrong.I hope you get help/advise soon .x

    Ditto, get to see another GP - Yours is obviously one of these textbook idiots who thinks young people can't get cancer. I assume you mentioned your mums cervical cancer at 28 ?

    Hope this all turns out negative for you - If it is any consolation Cervical isn't one of the more common cancers with a hereditary link, but nothing is proved and coincidences do happen.
