Hi, does anyone know if I should avoid contact with my pregnant relative during chemotherapy, I would hate to put her at risk.

No your Chemo should have no effect on your pregnant relative. But if it causes you concern ask the Hospital. at least it will ease your mind.

Your chemo is no threat to her. What you have to avoid is contact with people with infections - and dont volunteer to change nappies when the baby arrives. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't think so, never was told anything like that myself. It's you that becomes vulnerable during chemo, prone to infections etc

If you have a pet scan then its 24hrs no go as that can be an issue
