Chemo finished - results in!

I have now finished my chemo (Alimta and Cisplatin), had my CT scan and I was given my results yesterday. The meso is stable and there has been no spread - yippee!! I don`t have to see the oncologist until September so I am now looking forward to a good summer with my husband, sons and their families.

Joining the MacMillan online community has been one of the wisest things I have done recently. There are so many inspirational people on the site and I have found all this first-hand information so helpful - thanks to all, and good luck to all in the continuing battle.

Well done Heather - enjoy your summer.

As a family member, I found this site a tremendous support, and have 'met' some wonderful people. My step-dad died three months ago, and I still find comfort here, it's a great place. Take care, Val X
