After weeks of rumours and gossip the 24th of March 11am is the day and time we're finally told, right boys, get all your tools and belongings together and be off site by 12 midday.
Coronavirus lockdown is starting to take effect.
The video I make of me and my workmates lugging our tools through an eerily quiet and deserted Covent garden clearly shows my unexplained black eye in the midday sun!
I had called my doctors up a few days previously about the eye, the bloody mucus coming from the right nostril and the constant stuffy head and cold like symptoms since before Christmas. As they had stopped taking face to face appointments, I sent a picture of my eye to him and he said it sounded like a sinus infection and the black around the eye was a rash.
I know what you're thinking, how is a black eye a rash?? This was the start of many phone calls to the doctors!
