How does a person make sense of cancer when it happens to a relative so quickly? My father has advanced throat cancer and I am struggling to come to terms with it.
Any advice?

Hello Maltesers. I am so sorry to hear about your father. It's a very difficult time when a loved one is diagnosed with cancer. There is a group on here for head and neck cancers which includes the throat. It would be a good idea to join it as there may be others in the same situation as you and they can offer support and advice. Sending you and your father my best wishes xxx
