Chemo finished - (Habubrat)

1 minute read time.
Hi all! Quick update. Dave is finishing up his last hours of chemo as we speak and since they added one very nasty one this go round, it has knocked the snot out of him and he has been very nauseous. Poor guy. Can't even take all his meds, so I have just let it go. Not going to harass him about it all. Just the ones he feels are most important, he'll get back to the others shortly. Tomorrow we transplant. The children were delayed yesterday in coming as there was bad whether in Chicago, so suggested they not get on the flight and get rerouted. So they are in route now via Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas and I will pick them up in about an hour. Looking forward to seeing them. Sorry their Dad is going to be very much under the weather, but I figure he'll begin to feel better by the second half of their visit. They are young adults and so I'm quite confident they will be glad to be here and make the most of it without all the complaining we often dread from when they were youngsters! :) So continued well wishes to all of you for this upcoming holiday. I feel quite rich for having met you all and having you in my life. Best, Lori
