Today we were back at the hospital and it's all sorted and agreed, I now need treating with Cisplatin as my cancer is growing so fast, and I am uncomfortable with the pressure I am getting.
All sounds fine, what's the problem? The day unit have no spaces in the whole of next week to fit me in!! Anybody got any idea where I go from here? I was hoping that I would be 'done' on Monday and the pain might go away.
Anyway, as we had Stella (our motorhome) with us we stopped at Langstone Harbour and had lunch overlooking the water, with the sun shining.. it was lovley and makes me want to go away in the van again soon. It is actually 3 months since we have had a weekend away, so hopefully I will feel fit enough to go again soon. We stopped and got some bits to renew worn out fittings in the van, so at least we will be in and out of her this weekend, while hoping the hospital mange to find me a slot ASAP.
