I'm very relieved to say that my worries and concerns have now been dispelled by the news that my oncologist is very pleased with my blood tests results, and doesn't want to see me for another 3 months. I just can't believe it. I thought it was afluked last time round, and expected it to be back on chemo again today. The way I have been feeling I feared the worst, but when I said about my problems he just said 'that is to be expected - there's nothing I can do it will take time to clear up'. My feet are so uncomfortable he told me to buy well padded shoes with cotton liners!
We are now going to book the Eurotunnel and take off to Europe for 4 weeks during September, and if I can fit in more trips before November I will doing them.
The bubbly is out for dinner this evening, but first I am going out in the sunshine to meet an old friend for tea down the beach, tomorrow I'm out to dinner with Scouting friends, and my diary will be filling up fast.
Now to look forward to my 60th in March!
