Not all gloom.......

Less than one minute read time.

After 2 years of flexible cystoscopies, GA cystoscopies (first one apparently took out a 6cm growth!!!) , 2 CT scans, 1 ultrasound, and a 6 week course of BCG, I managed to get my first (visual) all-clear last week....

Welcome news. A couple more of them please !

    Yay!

Every bit of good news is a major victory; to my mind, we don't get nearly enough of them. I hope you have many more.

Thanks very much for your encouragement, folks. I appreciate that the experiences of people on this site are "variable", at best, so am in no doubt that anyone getting good news is to be welcomed. I'm fortunate in terms of the relatively mild severity of my cancer,(though it certainly seemed pretty vivid when I was first diagnosed, over 2 years ago...told in a cleaner's cupbaord at St Mary's , London - I kid you not, it was the only "private" space available...). I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to do anything, however small, to provide support or encouragement to people in worse situations than mine. :-)
