I was horrified today to be told by our District Nurse that there is only three macmillan nurses to cover the entire population of Stockport which is 280,000. How an earth can they be expected to give an adequate service? We have not had much dealings with them yet, only to be introduced to one, but it is worrying to wonder how much help we are likely to get went it is needed.
Just to let you know I am going away to Durham this morning to stay with my daughter, son-in-law and beautiful granddaughter Jessica. She is 22 months old and a real handful but I am so looking forward to seeing her.
