So day 15. That vaguely half way point. I think I may just have lost a little weight by not drinking. Which is one of those unexpected outcomes because I am sure I am eating more cake than usual. So being sober isn't really saving me any money yet but soon when I return to my wicked ways I will need to drink less because I'll have no tolerance which will be fun.
But that is the major revelation of today. I am starting to realise that it's not that long until November. Then I will have proved or my doubters wrong. Raised money for a frankly fantastic charity but also most importantly ended the argument as to whether I'm fun sober (i'm clearly not. I'm tired, im grouchy and I'm getting far to critical of BBC Atlantic and the bake off. Keeping Ruby was such a controversial decision!)
Hope you sober heroes are all having fun. I'm back off to drink my orange juice in a corner while the uncharitable folks drink wine!
