My son is in the army and currently serving in Iraq. His company (C Company, 2 Royal Anglians) are trying to raise money for Leukaemia Research. They are doing this by cycling the distance home to their barracks in Celle, Germany from Basrah. They will be starting the ride on Oct 27th and keep 2 bikes going non-stop in their gym until the distance of 3916kms is clocked up! All the lads will be giving up what little spare time they have to do this in between their current duties of training the Iraqi army. So far they have raised just over £2000.
