Hi everyone
Just wanted to say that I had my last chemo session on the 22/9/2010. Not suffering too badly from side effects as yet although do feel a bit washed out today and have sore throat. Normally have an injection in my stomach day after chemo but decided against it this time due to the side effects. Just going to take things nice and easy for next few days then will have blood test to make sure all still ok.
Really sad to say goodbye to my chemo nurses as they have all been terrific and looked after me so well as I have had a few problems i.e caught an infection after first chemo and ended up in hospital for a week then had an allergic reaction to third session which put me on antihistamines and steroids - hopefully that won't happen this time.
Next up will be radiotherapy. Just waiting for an appointment to go for my planning session.
Love to you all
