My husband and myself have always wanted to move up to Scotland. We have been offered a council flat in Scotland my husband want to turn it down as means waiting longer for a another one to come up. But the problem is that just a few days before we got offered the flat my mum got told she has 9-12 months to live. I don't know which way to turn do I go with my husband or stay to support my mum

Do you believe you and your husband can survive a separation of that length of time
Can you contact council and explain problem they may be willing under the circumstances to allow you to turn this flat down and keep you at the top of the list
Is there any way your mother could go yo Scotland with you ,

We have come to understand my husband is giung to move up Scotland imam going to stay down here for a few months. As my mum is moving to tivertion soon to with her family as she says she want to go home.
So when she moves to tivertion I will go to Scotland and join my husband.
