Just a thought i was having that i thought i'd pop on here....
People are continuly suprising me with just how nice they can be.
When i found out dad had cancer and that he was given 5-10 years I felt (and still feel) so useless. I was thinking there must be something i can do, so as the only way my dad is going to get better is if they find a better treatement for Bone Metatslis (sorry spelling is bad, i know) so my thoughts were i have to try and raise some money. The more money Cancer charities get teh better research.....
so I am running Race for life this year, and for me to run anything is, well enough to send my loved ones in fits of laughter. So i set up my page for people to sponsor (which is http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/joannebassett2 BTW) and set a limit to reach of £100. I then thought i'd up it to £300 i never thought that i would raise this amount, but i have!! i reached my target yesterday, and that is without any of my families sponsorship! i am amazed at the generousity of people. Plus 3 of my friends agreed to run it with me, even though like me tehy are not exactly fitness freaks, x
recently, as you may know by my other blog i have had trouble with one girl in particular and have been worrying about what to do, now i think thank god for my friends and people around me.
Anyways, I have to run 5K on sunday wish me luck !!!!
