Hi all

Less than one minute read time.
Well I'm Gill aka Gerbs. I'm totally addicted to the chat room and love catching up on all my friends in there. I also love meeting new people. That's pretty much how chat is so if your unsure about using the chat room, please come along and try it out. We will laugh with you, cry with you, point you in the right direction when you need help and generally be there for you. If we're a little nosy it's only because we want to help. If your not into chat rooms and social messaging you may be unfamiliar with some terms. Hopefully this will help BBIAB = be back in a bit BRB = be right back ROFL = roll on the floor laughing (similar but less polite are pmsl and lmao) WB = welcome back I usually ask if you are patient/carer/family. The only reason for this is so we know what your going through, all are equally welcome and among our regulars we have all 3 represented and greatly loved and appreciated.

So glad you are loving the Chat Room here.  It has given me a lot of escapist enjoyment over the months.  At one time I used to be on every night, but me tapping away on my laptop next to my partner at midnight when he was trying to sleep was driving him to despair!  It really is great though if anyone is feeling a bit down, a bit isolated, and I too would recommend it.  xxxx Penny

    Hi Gill

I agree the chat site is great.. It  has had me crying with laughter which is just what the doc ordered and also crying with saddnes.

The reason I haven't been on for a while is mainly being short of time and tiredness.

But I will definately be in to wish you all a good Christmas! If nothing more!
