Just to let u all know,i got the results back from the sentinel node biopsy and they are clear!!The relief i feel is immense!
I have still to go see the surgeon on tuesday but im just glad i got the results back a bit earlier.
The only problem im now having is i have a really awful pain in my right side,round about my rib cage,it started as a dull ache and has got gradually worse over the week i know that this might be totally unrelated to the melanoma but do you think it would be worth mentioning to the surgeon?I dont want to seem like a drama queen!

It's probably just muscular, Gemma. You've probably been holding yourself differently and walking differently because of the surgery on your leg and groin, but of course you should mention it to the surgeon.
Fabulous news though! Let's hope this is the end of it all!
yeah thats what i was thinking aswell marsha,i was walking with a limp and my back&sides would have been feeling the strain,if its still there when i go on tues i will mention it if its gone i will just leave it.
Great news to read this morning Gemma, I know the relief you must be feeling! If you're still in pain when you see the Consultant there's no harm in mentioning it. Big hug!
Yeah im so glad the results were good,that honestly was the most worrying time of my life!I will be extra cautious of any mole,lumps or bumps that appear from now on!But fingers crossed its gone for good!
