I suppose being in the business I should volunteer my services, so far as finding a company that might cover us!  I'll have word with our paraplanner and see if she can come up with some suggestions...well you didn't really think I was going to do it myself, did you?

Good luck with the house move, Caroline!

Hi, just to let you know my life insurance application has been accepted!!! I have to pay an inflated premium for 3 years and then (providing melanoma doesn't come back!) it returns to normal!!

They had a lot of bad press so I think they must have 'reviewed their criteria'. I think they were investigated on Panorama or some similar programme recently too. I researched them when I was in the process of claiming critical illness and was very concerned after reading the horror stories about them on the net, but they paid that without any hassle too so I can't complain. I am still waiting for the phone call saying they have made a mistake though!!! Sorry they deferred you Marsha, how long ago was that?

It must have been about 10 years now that they deferred me, perhaps a bit longer.  I never bothered to reapply, and now I'm 10 years older and two stages further, can't see them offering me cover now at any price!

It's great that you've managed to get it, I think it's realy important if you have young kids.

    Nice picture by the way!
