I am having a very bad day today - thinking of my mum who I lost 7 weeks ago - I am devastated!
The reason I am writing is because I cannot get over the fact that she didn't have treatment and I now question whether she could still be alive today if she was offered it??
Last June 08 they found 2 small growths in her bladder which they removed. Last August they removed her whole left kidney due to finding a 5cm growth, in November they said all was well and they got the kidney and tumour out. December, after an awful cough and blood in sputum they did x-rays and found lung cancer. She was never offered any chemo or radiotherapy they said she wasn't well enough and it was too large, they said it would not give her much more time as she only had weeks to live...well as many of you will know from my older blogs my darling mum died 4 weeks amd 5 days later.
But I read blogs on here everyday to see that people with lung cancer get chemo and or radiotherapy - some live a long time, sadly others don't....pleas tell me WHY my mum did't get that chance...I can't stop thinking about it,.....thinking she could still be here if she had this treatment.
Please help with some advice
