As you may know my mum was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 weeks ago. She already had 2 tumours removed form her bladder last June and her whole kidney removed last August - poor mum.
Oncologist says nothing they can do - no chemo, no radiotherapy - too far advanced. They say to be prepared for only weeks rather than months.
She is at home, where she want to be, which is lovely. She seemed to be doing fairly well but the last 2 days she seems much weaker, is very tottery walking with her frame and so very, very tired. She has also complained (although she does not complain, love her!) about feeling like she had something stuck in her pipe btween her ribs - almost like a tablet is stuck there?? I'm sure this isn't a tablet??
Has anyone else who is sufferin like my mum had this feeling? Any ideas what it could be? McMillan ar coming for a chat tomorrow...I have no experience of Mcmillan..does this mean it's near the end??
I am so sad and finding it qhite a struggle at the moment x
