2nd FEC - feeling fed up

Less than one minute read time.

Just had second FEC. Wasn't too bad last time.  This time spent next day in bed.  Was up yesterday and went for very short walk.  Went for walk this morning but feel fed up, feel like I might be developing bladder infection and have pain in arm where lymph nodes removed.  Wore cold cap both times but head is going quite bald on top of head. Been advised not to wash hair or brush it.  How does that work? My hair looks awful.  Any advice.  I have a wig.  Should I just get it all shaved off, cut very short and leave it and see how bad it gets.  Any info or support gratefully received.

Thank you all for your support.  It really helps. I went to shop where I bought wig today and they are going to cut my hair to 2" all over.  Think that will be better than waiting for it to fall out.  I'm even findng it in my food! Revolting! Then I guess I will have to wear the wig.  Don't think it is worth keeping going with the cold cap if it is still falling out.  Agree about the 'I have cancer' bandannas.  Don't fancy them either.  Will try to keep drinking lots but think I have lost my sense of taste.  Any advice on something that tastes nice.  I have been drinking tonic water but lots of sugar if you drink a lot of it.  Anyway feel a little bit better today, so hopefully tomorrow even better.  Really nice to hear from people who really understand what you are going through.  Think that's one of the hardest things.

I hate when my tastebuds go. For some reason i really like eggs just after chemo and horrible fry ups haha. I actually find lots of drinks revolting, can't even drink tea. I say don't worry about your sugar intake as anything is better than nothing and if tonic water is what you can tolerate, then drink up. Better than getting dehydrated. Light, plain things i think are best with food. Nothing to strong. But thats just me, everyone is different. Good luck! x
