So I've decided I want to start arranging some fundraising for Macmillan in my local areas, a mixture of arranging some events and taking part in some existing events like walks, etc that I can do for Macmillan.
I'm hoping to be able to find a few people who want to join me, so I've got some help and some company in event organising and when taking part in other events.
I'm doing this in memory of my mum, who sadly passed away in 2008 after a long fight with breast cancer aged just 44. Macmillan were an amazing help to her, both with things she needed at home such as her hospital bed, and with emotional support.
If anyone wishes to help me out in any way please don't hesitate to get in touch =)
it's day one of trying to get some people together and I've messaged a few folks from my area and put this blog up so we'll see what happens next.
