Being youthful

1 minute read time.

Well yesterday my issues were with the generation gap as it proved a difficult day for bridging the generation gap after our teenager son seemed to turn into a youthful "MR Mildrew" and complained about how "stupid" the world was or how unfair the establishment was with him. I swear that wars have been started with less passion than he had yesterday! And it was utterly frustrating that no matter what, I couldn't get through to him that it could be his perception that was wrong. Hopefully it was a case of tiredness as he had a late ight previosuly and even woke up late for school. But I suppose we all had our "moments" with our parents when we were young. And its funny how the youth regard things so differently to us. But there again, if they knew what real problems await them as they grow up, maybe they would never want to grow up. But at east it gave me something else to worry about rather than my recovery from Cancer. So hopefully one day soon he will re-evaluate what's important to him and learn that sometimes, the best thing in life is to smile. So here's smiling at you kid!
