Well, the funeral is over, and I'm not sure what to feel now. So much time spent preparing for it. Glad I spoke and I think my Dad would have liked the service - we had lots of happy pictures out on the tables at the reception, and was much nicer to talk to everyone who came about the good times than about the illness and the end.
Next task is clearing Dad's flat out - we've only got a few weeks to do it, but I am dreading it. So many memories and possessions to sort out. Still, that should keep me busy this week. And then I guess I'll go back to work, otherwise I fear I'll sit at home all day not knowing what to do with myself...
