Hello there,
My name's Steph and I work in the Community Team here at Macmillan. I hope you don't mind me posting here today.
We noticed you'd started posting this blog, but it looks like there's been a glitch in our system which has hidden your username. I am so sorry you're feeling lonely and I wanted to reach out and see if I can help get you some support.
Posting in blogs is a good way to share your story, but if you're reaching out for support, then our groups are a good place to start. If you're new here, then please pop over to our New to the Community group here. If you need further help, you can contact me and the team by sending a PM to Moderator - Macmillan Community or by emailing community@macmillan.org.uk
Please remember our Support Line teams are also here for you. Sometimes it can help to talk things through with someone who’s there to listen. They’re available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00.
I also wondered if your GP was aware of how you’re feeling? They may also be able to offer you some support, so it may be worth giving them a call.
I hope you see this - do get in touch if you need any further support. I hope the Community helps show you are not alone and that there's lots of support available to you.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
