Sorry I'm new here and was having a look around the site and read your post sorry about my spelling 
I know how u feel I had the same back in 2004 lucky 4 me i had 3 young children to help cope with the loneliness. But last year when my cancer came back children grown up only 1 teenager left at home . Sat for ages thinking how do I get pass this i got myself a puppy (all the wrong reasons in the world for buying a puppy) but it really has helped also i have made friends with other dog owners xx
