Hi there,
I have, in the last eight months, had an operation for cancer of the tongue, whereby half my tongue was removed and replaced with a "flap". I had a skin graft on my arm to replace the skin taken for the flap and lymph nodes taken from my neck to test for further cancer.
Thankfully, I am clear and in remission and very, very positive about the future.
