Dear Emma, I'm glad you have been signed off work - take as much time off as you can as resting will help you to heal.  Your young one needs you very much so don't worry about work.  Easier said than done I know.  Address your finances i.e. mortgage, bills now and be open about them to the relevant people - they may be able to freeze/delay/stop payments for a while.  Celulitis is so painful and the fact you keep getting it means your body needs rest in order to fight the truck that's hit it.  Also, try to take one day at a time right now and not focus on tomorrow, hopefully you will gradually get to tomorrow and feel relieved when you look back and realise what a sh---y time you've had and how strong you've been.  You WILL get there girl, you have to.  Ann x

    Hi Emma,

sorry to hear you having a rough time.

Remember though that its understandable you are stressed when going through so much so if your gp recommends pills just be wary and look into them fully.

My husband had a bad 18 months and was put on tablets which caused their own problems. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.

    Good luck emma

    regards

    Hi Emma

Sorry to hear you keep getting Cellulitis, i had a real bad case of this in my nose November 09 & i didn't know what it was.

Is yours in your legs, which seems the common place to get it?

I have antibiotics on standby at home (double strength) as my immune system is low taking immunosuppressants.

My case was the worst my GP had seen in twenty odd years & very serious being in the face.

I think we are all susceptible to infections & must take extra care with hygeine.
