Cancer of the vulva

Less than one minute read time.

I was excited that two groups were coming together thinking i might find more people who have had the same cancer,

But i put in the search Vulva cancer and the only person who comes up is me, i know its rare but come on there has to be someone else out there??? There was a nice girl Em but since this new site has taken off i seem to have lost contact!!

Hi Emma. I remember your previous posts. Perhaps Em hasn't managed to log on here yet.

Shame you can't find someone else with the same cancer type. Very strange considering the amount of people who use this site. Hope you manage to speak to someone soon.

    Best wishes, Christine xx

Well now you officially are SPECIAL. Not much comfort I know when you really want to get in touch with someone who really understands what you are going through.

Good to see you here Emma xx

I just found out a few wks. ago I have Vulva Cancer and on Jan.9th I am going in for a radical which is removal of the entire left side of the vulva. I am so worried about this surgery...I am 72 yrs. old. I am wondering what to expect after the surgery in recovery...I am praying this cancer has not gone into the lymph glands...my surgeon told me it very rarely spreads to the lymph glands, 90% chance it will not...if anyone out there has had this kind of surgey please tell me what to expect...Sue from Indiana
