I tried some wigs in a posh shop recommended by my onco. Horrible- they had moved the wig dept to the hairdressing dept and expected me to take off my hat amongst all the pretty young things getting their hair done.

I asked for privacy and was put in a stockroom and they brought the only two blonde wigs they had. My own hair was short and thin anyway so I looked like a cross between Lady Ga Ga and Dolly Parton. And they wanted to charge £400. I fled. I just wore a hat.

I did find a website - can't rememebr the name- wig something but they were in Patrington in East Yorkshire but by then they had stopped the drug as it didn't work anyway.

Good luck with the chemo and stay beautiful.

    Love Jen XX
