Went to the hospital today for my results and have been told that it is not cancer. It's a benign lump and is called Fibroadenoma and is linked to hormone levels. I can't begin to express the relief i felt when the consultant told me. Hugs to those who need them and big thanks to those of you who have supported me and offered help and hugs.

Hello Ecoelle. Well that must have come as a big relief for you all ....... so now you can relax ! I am so glad that the lump turned out benign, it just goes to show that not every lump or bump is sinister but great that you got checked out all the same. Hugs to you.

That is fantastic news - I went through the same thing. The waiting game is so hard to go through for everybody. I was convinced that I had breast cancer as I had bowel cancer 3 years ago. I too was so glad to receive the benign news. Celebrations all round. Enjoy every moment.
