    Hi Elliot.

Really sorry that you've had to join us, but welcome!

I think it's great that you've come here and asked about this alternative therapy. At least you can then make an informed decision. Here's a link to what Cancer Research UK says about zeolite:

    www.cancerhelp.org.uk/.../default.asp

It would seem that there is NO evidence (i.e. not anecdotes; but results of repeatable, statistically sound, peer-reviewed trials) to support the claims made for it.

In fact, given that one claim is that it removes toxins (and chemotherapy is a toxin) then it wouldn't make sense to take it if you're having chemo.

I don't know about kidney / adrenal glands and so can't help on this front, but I'm sure others with experience will be about on this site to help. One thing I do know is that lots of folk who come on this site find that "the system" (e.g. the NHS) works best if you keep pushing it - in a constructive, friendly, but firm way.

I think my approach would be to draw up the lists of questions that go chasing around in my head. Then prioritise them (doctors only have a finite amount of time they can give to each patient - so if that time runs out then I'd want to have made sure that I'd had the chance to ask the most important ones). If I didn’t get satisfactory answers then I'd ask to be referred to someone who might be able to answer them.

    Hope this helps.

    Gary
