4th of 6 Zometa Infusions completed this week. Felt a bit rough the day after but thankfully feel fine again. I have been lucky so far with these as I have not had any major side effects.
The biggest problem is getting cannulated - my veins have not recovered from chemo which makes it a very stressful, lengthy process. At least I can forget about it now for 6 months!
I empathise totally - It’s horrible when they are poking about trying to get a vein! I dread it each time but thankfully we manage get there in the end. There was a woman opposite me whose blood pressure was sky high in anticipation of it. Poor woman had to wait until her pressure came down - they had to get her some medication to lower it in the end. best of luck with your next round - I have one more to go yay :)
