I had my follow up yesterday & also had my first zometa infusion.
I have been having really intense foot pain since starting Letrozole so doc suggested stopping it for a few weeks to see if my foot improves. I’m not sure what will happen if it does improve as I am guessing once I go back on it, it will start up again so we will see! At least they are looking into it though & not just telling me to put up with it. Am not sure what they can do really!
Zometa infusion was fine - was really nervous about it as my veins are destroyed from chemo! They seem to have recuperated enough to get the cannula in & infusion itself only took about 15 mins.
I was expecting to feel terrible after it ( glass half empty kind of person) but I was fine. I feel a bit achy today but ok - certainly nothing like I was expecting! Fingers crossed it stays that way :)
