I had my review this week & thankfully have been feeling a lot better. Next treatment for me is 10 years of Letrozole. I will also have Bisphosphonates which will be given as a drip every 6 months for 3 years. I really hope all this works & I never find myself in this situation again!
I’m hoping the side effects of Letrozole won’t be too bad - I took it between my diagnosis & surgery so all in all for about 6 weeks. I was fine on it for those 6 weeks but not sure how long it takes for side effects to make themselves known..
When I started chemo I couldn’t see an end to it but it does come round eventually. Now I need to get on with my life and try to put these last 6 months behind me which is easier said than done!!
