Finally the dreaded day arrived & I headed to the medical day unit for my chemo! I was so nervous but the staff were lovely and helped me stay calm and get through it in one piece!
I felt a little woozy & tired afterwards but fine. I felt a little “hungover” the next morning but felt fine as the day wore. This could be down to the bucket load of anti nausea meds though! I will see how I feel as the days progress but all in all it is not at all as hideous as I was expecting (famous last words!!)
