Protest bad Cancer Research; YOU can make real changes

My grandfather came from Manchester and he was very proud of his heritage. I only know this from my father because grand dad was dead before I was born.I saw Metzy's blog about protesting in Manchester about the high cost of cancer treatment, and I also saw another blog from a Welsh paper where a 54 year old fmr mayor (same age as me) was willing to die to protest the high drug costs.His name is Chris Lewis . Brave man. I laughed but I hope he decides to live. I laughed becaue eleven years ago I had testicular cancer, and not only was I dying from cancer I was being starved to death by the financial blacklisting of the University of Waterloo (Canada, better known as "The Blackberry/RIM") and had to decide to use my own theories rather than Chemotherapy and radiation.I had a good doctor who tried to change my mind but now who is amazed I am alive but my theories worked and they now may be the very basis of much of modern cancer research theory. The UK turned its back on its grandson and went with the blacklisting and suppression. Its funny how one research center, Imperial College thinks the theories are enormously exciting in 2008; but 20 years ago turned their backs on the same theories. How many Britons have died? Take a guess. And the reason was money and power. So why are drugs costing so much and people can't get them. Well former Mayor Chris Lewis , money is only part of the reason, the other part is that no one cared enough to help me. A former US Surgeon General has regretted my treatment and Noam Chomsky (Kyoto prize winner) considers the research to be of phenomenal importance, but has the public helped expose the corruption. A very few , but a very few. So Metzy, get out there and protest. Demand to know where the money is going and coming. Find out who is profiting? And that means who gets the jobs to decide and who puts them there. And could you please tell Mr. Chris Lewis to live. Dead men can't swear and curse at wrong doers. If he is alive he can grumble and complain and get things changed. So , people do you want a better world? If you do then you will help. And how can you help? Tell people.
