Hospital was better than expected. The cancer in my thigh/lymph nodes have shrunk, cancer to the liver can't be seen. Another growth can be seen on the breast bone that will be re-scaned soon I have a fractured hip caused by turning over in bed, still on chemo for at least 2 more cycles, things are looking up it's been hard work thanks to the family i got through it. thanks for everyone on here for the kind wishes
Picko posted the above on facebook. Not bad for a bloke given 3 months to live in January and didn't have any treatment until ten weeks into the twelve!
Sorry i haven't blogged for a while - still plodding on, Got recurring head clods and urine infections. Was back in the joint in April to have an abscess drained where Roald used to live. Got surgeon check up on Monday and Onco a week Monday. Second anniversary in Ocotber - my how time flies.
Have retired from the council and am busier than ever fighting the new council - should have just stood for re-election. It would have been easier!
Keep smiling
love

Would think after battling that lot the Council would be a doddle. Keep it up :)

Glad to hear Picko is doing well and you are still smiling Drew.

I hardly blog either, unless something noteworthy happens, which isn't too often when you are " a brain tumour patient living the jetset life on one wage " right now we are panicking over university fee's.......wish we had saved but there ya go!

Hah Hah! That's the penalty for having bright kids! My kids aren't academic although I wouldn't call them thick but have got three of them back home again. Antony left his wife on Saturday - turned up with a car load of black bags. "What are they for?" I asked. "I've left Lyndsey," he said, "aren't you going to say welcome home, son?"  I always swore that I would burn the house down before I let them back. So it's not just uni - you make 'em, you have to wet nurse 'em and the only contribution they will make in your lives is when they get to chose the home that they put you in!

Keep smiling - we are all in the same boat!

    Love
