  • Hi Dot,

There are a number of variations on this operation. Have you been told whether you're having a sentinel node removal or a complete or partial clearance? Have you been told if you're having chemo or radiotherapy afterwards? I would like to help you but you don't really give enough information either in your question or on your profile. Look at my profile by clicking on my picture if you want to know what happened to me. I can only reassure you that the experience is not as bad as you are probably imagining.

    Best of luck,

    KateG

Hi Dot,  I had mine op one year ago, I cannot believe it is gone so quickly...I had 2 lumps removed one was grade 2, then radiotherapy, and I take one tablet per day...

I think the waiting can be hard going for you and the family...I cannot believe you have had lump for 5 years...

Good luck for tomorrow, keep in touch when things have been sorted
