Well hair we go again. After my wild karaoke and everyone getting used to my short hair its now falling out again!!!
I am going to have a mohawk done later to do some silly photos and then its off with all the hair. I remember now how sore my head was when it fell out the first time.
Its just ironic that my chemo stops tomorrow so hopefully it will start growing again in a couple of weeks.
I have contacted Leicester hospital to see if my details have arrived, they have and I'm in Dr Anne Thomas' in-tray. She will look at my details tomorrow and then decide my fate. The secretary said " oh yes your for the phase 1 trial " Oh am I?
Needless to say you look up phase 1 trial on the cancer research uk website and I dont know if I like the sound of it but until I got more info or advice I cant decide obviously. She only does clinics on a Tuesday so whats the likelihood that it will be next week! I said I'm available anyway so thats all I can do really.
Not feeling fab today so still in my dressing gown and its 3pm, dont care really, having a sofa day and watching crap on telly, love it.
Shall post photos of mohawk later. If anyone has any advice or experience with trials then I would be really interested in hearing about it. Does this mean I cant be offered any further conventional treatment? Obviously. Oh bollox, lifes a challenge isnt it?
