Bloods are up

Less than one minute read time.
After having my chemo delayed due to a tummy bug and bloods plummeting to new lows I have the all clear to start chemo again tomorrow. I am so relieved but panicked a little bit with having treatment delayed. They said it might happen and a week off wont do any harm but its hard knowing how quick this bastard disease will take hold and crack on with spreading. Thats what stressed me out. Back tomorrow though to fight the fight and give it my all.

    Not such a dizzy wench.

Delays are a bitch. No choice but to stick with it - nothing else works. Being 100% positive is hard - you're doing great!

    Get back in there.

    I'll be thinking about you.

    Love

    Hi Dizzywench

Just to say good luck tomorrow,I have been through the Chemo with my husband and know what it is like waiting to have your bloods right to recieve the chemo.

I think you are very brave and as all parents know we worry more how it affects our children then how we feel ourselves, also glad you have the good support from your husband.

    Hugs for you tomorrow.

    Love

  • Hi Dizzy,

Yeah delays are a pain! They kept putting off my surgery because of shingles and nerve damage and I just wanted the b'gger out pronto!  Good luck with your treatment.

    Best wishes,
