Went to the hospital yesterday and it was no surprise to be told I have jawbone cancer. What I'm struggling to take in is that it's most likely a rare type of cancer called jawbone sarcoma. This will take specialised treatment and a lot of travelling. I've got to have more scans for them to be sure. I'm booked in for another CT scan on Friday afternoon.
They were very kind at the hospital. A Macmillan nurse was in the room, she'll be my point of contact and she made lots of notes in case I have questions.
What's on my mind at the moment is my husband. He's going to the GP surgery tomorrow about the problem with his PSA levels. I don't know what I'll do if it turns out he's got cancer as well.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
