We went to the hospital this morning for H's prostate biopsy which was to be done under local anaesthetic. Unfortunately it did not go to plan. The procedure apparently starts with the insertion of an ultrasound probe into the rectum. H said he was very tense and he quickly got stressed and was in a lot of pain. So they were unable to proceed and a biopsy under general anaesthetic is booked for Tuesday 11th November. He'll get an appointment sometime next week for pre-op assessment.
