Hello Sue

Like you, my partner John is going through a course of chemotherapy and has IV every three weeks.  We have learned from experience that he is usually wiped out for two of those three weeks but we try to make the best of the week when he's feeling better.  He's due for his fourth session next week and he's dreading it.

The day you've had today sounds absolutely idyllic.  Simple pleasures are sometimes the best and there's nothing like the love of a dog.  We have one too and John's face always lights up when she cuddles up to him on the sofa.
